Provides high school students from across the U.S. with an opportunity to spend an all expense-paid week in our nation's capital. Students will learn about the federal government, American history and the telecommunications industry. Application deadline for the 2010 program is complete. For more information on the 2011 program will be available Fall 2010.
Students will observe the federal government at work, witness the development of public policy and explore the rols of citizens, lawmakers, experts, associations, businesses in the world's most successful democracy, as well as, meet students of their own age from all parts of the country. This program takes students behind the scenes of our nation's capital for seminars and discussions featuring members of Congress, Presidential appointees, journalists and other Washington D.C. officials.
