Each year, the Foundation for Rural Education and Development awards scholarships to rural America's best and brightest students.  Scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,500 and are funded by the FRED Scholarship Endowment through donations to the FRED Annual Giving Campaign and Otelco Mid-Missouri. 

 

To apply for any FRED Scholarship students must live in an OPASTCO member's service area.  Otelco Mid-Missouri is an OPASTCO member.  Applications may be found online when they become available in Fall 2010 and are due to Otelco January 2011.
